“No matter what the topic, I have been completely supported every time I call.”

Christine, parent

We offer free online and in-person workshops for parents, students, and professionals on how to navigate special education and disability systems, access community resources, and understand NYC Department of Education procedures and processes.

Some popular workshop topics include Promoting Positive Behavior in Young Children, Advocacy Skills for Families, Understanding Your Child’s IEP, and Top 5 Rights in Special Education. Register for a free workshop. You can also book a workshop at your school or organization.

Programs for Young People

We help young people explore options and take steps toward their education, job, and community involvement goals. With one-on-one support, group skill-building, and other workshops, you can start transition planning and preparation for life after high school.
