Parent Center

INCLUDEnyc is the  Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Center for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, funded by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to promote meaningful family involvement within the educational system, build collaborative community relationships, and provide information and training about available service options and delivery systems for children from birth to age 21.  Full announcement from the New York State Education Department.

We are also part of the  Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC)  collaborative for all five boroughs, funded by the U.S. Department of Education under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to provide training and assistance to families with children from birth to 26.

Additionally, we are funded by USDOE to operate a  Community Parent Resource Center (CPRC)  in the South Bronx and northern Manhattan offering direct support and training to young adults, families, and organizations, primarily for Spanish-speaking communities.

We also are a part of the RSA-funded  REAL Transition Partners—alongside  Starbridge,  the Parent Network of Western New YorkSPAN Advocacy, and  Federation for Children with Special Needs—leading a collaborative of 26 parent centers providing young adults with disabilities and their families with postsecondary transition-related information and support across the Northeast and Caribbean.
