As INCLUDEnyc’s 40th anniversary year draws to a close, I reflect on our deep commitment to providing love, equity, and access to young people with disabilities in New York City.
Our story began with three mothers of children with disabilities sitting around a kitchen table and compiling resources that could help support other youths with disabilities. Over the years, we have grown to provide assistance from our free Help Line, programming, resources, and support for youth and their families, and our dedication to our INCLUDEnyc community remains as strong as ever.
I am so grateful for the work of our staff in creating a supportive environment for our families and to all our partners who have helped us fulfill our mission as we continue to expand our supports, services, and resources to promote positive futures and further enhance the quality of life for NYC young people with disabilities.
I wish everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you again in the new year!
