Behavior is a way for your child to communicate with you. What is your child trying to say?
Learn about the function of your child’s behavior and strategies to manage, as well as prevent challenging behavior. We’ll also discuss how you can use those strategies in collaboration with your child’s early childhood program.
In this workshop, you will:
- Discuss what behavior means, what it communicates, and its function.
- Utilize at least one strategy to manage behavior at home and in the community.
- Identify two or more ways to work with your child’s early childhood program to manage their behavior.
- Use at least one or two strategies to prevent challenging behavior.
