Positive Solutions for Families

This group is a 7-week evidenced based parent training and support group for parents of children two to five years old. Our group will meet once a week for seven weeks. The training materials are based on the pyramid model utilized in Early Childhood Education Centers. It is an opportunity to:

• Learn about behavior, specifically, how to be a “behavior detective” to determine the meaning of a child’s behavior
• Learn positive and effective parenting techniques to manage challenging behaviors through using prevention strategies and how to set up successful routines and transitions
• Connect with other caregivers on parenting strategies, as well as, share the joys and challenges of parenting together

We encourage all families who sign up to attend all 7 weeks.

Groups will be held Wednesdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. The first group session will be February 1, 2023.
