This is a 2 part series evidenced – based training and support group for parents of children birth to five years old. This group will meet two times, May 26 and June 9. The training materials are based on the pyramid model utilized in Early Childhood Education Centers. It is an opportunity to:
- Learn about behavior, specifically, how to be a “behavior detective” to determine the meaning of a child’s behavior
- Learn positive and effective parenting techniques to manage challenging behaviors through using prevention strategies and how to set up successful routines and transitions
- Connect with other caregivers on parenting strategies, as well as, share the joys and challenges of parenting together
