In this training, professionals will learn how to create a welcoming and affirming learning environment that fosters improved student outcomes. Participants will learn how to identify and make meaning of how their own identities shape relationships and experiences. They will also begin to develop their own strategies for creating a welcoming and affirming learning environment and will identify two to three next steps for ongoing professional learning.
